Students should select the appropriate Online Programs option under the session date selection when registering for Orientation. Students who select this orientation option must complete the online reservation form and select the Virtual Orientation option for the session date. Processing online reservations takes up to three (3) business days. Once your registration and payment have been processed, you will be sent instructions on how to access Virtual Orientation.
You must also schedule an appointment with your advisor. The university orientation requirements are fulfilled once you have completed the virtual component and are cleared by your advisor. You will then be eligible to register for classes.
Students entering a totally-online degree program not listed above will be required to attend an on-campus orientation in order to meet with their academic advisor. Exceptions will be made for distance learning students who provide verification that they do not plan to live in the central Florida region. These students will need to contact our main office to sign up for orientation.
*To see a list of which undergraduate programs may be completed online, visit the online@ucf Online Programs website.
