You’re almost there! Before you go to register online, please read through the following sections as they explain specific actions that need to be completed in order to successfully register for the Orlando Campus Orientation.
Dates, Costs, and Family
During registration you will be asked to pick a session date that is based on your start date at UCF and whether you are participating in a special program (e.g., LEAD Scholars, EXCEL, and Access). The cost to attend an Orientation session is covered by a one-time cost that includes a student handbook, printed materials, and meals (if applicable).
Parents (and other adult family members) who are interested in attending Orientation with their students are strongly encouraged to do so. For students attending a session at the Orlando campus, a Family Orientation program is held concurrently with the student program; however the family program is separate from the student program.
If your family would like to attend, there is also a cost associated with each adult attending. This cost includes the price of a meal. Please visit our Dates and Costs page for more information.
Please complete the Online Reservation Form by clicking the “Register Online” link below. Space is limited for each Orientation Session and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Remember to register any family members who wish to attend Family Orientation.
All fees must either be paid online by credit card or by mail with check or money order prior to finalizing your orientation registration and securing your seat in a specific session. Your seat is not held in the session you select until you have paid your Orientation fees. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis according to when payment is received. Please make all checks payable to UCF First Year Experience and be sure to list the student’s UCFID. Registration requests will only be processed once payment is received.
Confirmation Packet: Following verification of your reservation and receipt of your fee payment, we will process your request and email you a confirmation packet. This packet will include your Orientation session date, program times, parking permit, directions, check-in information, and the status of your immunization records. If you have not received your packet the week prior to your scheduled Orientation session, please contact us.
Orientation Checklist: Before attending Orientation, there are some important tasks that should be completed to help make the transition to UCF easier. Review our checklist page and make note of anything left to complete.
Virtual Orientation (Transfer Only): Prior to attending the on-campus session, transfer students will also be required to complete a virtual orientation component. Directions on accessing this online course will be included in the confirmation packet. This component must be completed before attending the on-campus orientation session.
