Transfer Students – Connect Campus


If you plan to attend classes at a UCF Connect location, you will complete an Online Orientation, unless you are majoring in Nursing or Architecture (on-campus event required). After you have selected an Orientation session, please contact your UCF Connect campus office to schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor. The university Orientation requirements are fulfilled once you have completed either an onsite or Online Orientation, met with your Academic Advisor, and completed KnightsPrep. You will then be cleared to register for classes.

Who can complete Orientation at a UCF Connect Campus?

Only incoming transfer students who are planning to take classes at a Connect Campus are eligible to complete Orientation through UCF Connect. For Spring 2021, the following campuses will offer Orientation for the majors listed:

Virtual Orientation

For Spring 2021, all students will complete the Virtual Orientation option. Processing online reservations takes up to three (3) business days. Once your registration and payment have been processed, you will be emailed instructions on how to access Virtual Orientation and KnightsPrep.

Orientation dates are tentative and subject to change. Registration for summer/fall entry opens in February; registration for spring entry opens in mid-October.

Students majoring in Nursing will attend Orientation at a Connect campus will need to complete the online reservation form and select a session date for that campus.

Cost

All Orientation registrations require a payment that covers the Orientation fee ($35). Your seat is not held in the session you select until you have paid your Orientation fee. The entire cost to attend Orientation must either be paid online by credit card or by mail with check or money order prior to finalizing your Orientation registration and securing your seat in a specific session. Your seat is not held in the session you select until you have paid your Orientation fees. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis according to when payment is received. Registration requests will only be processed once payment is received. All charges associated with Orientation are non-refundable.

Student Charge: $35 Orientation fee

Please note there is no guest program associated with the Connect Center Orientation program.

After Registration

Confirmation Packet: Following verification of your reservation and receipt of payment, we will process your request. After processing, you will receive a confirmation email that outlines detailed information about the Orientation session chosen. If you have not received your confirmation email the week prior to your scheduled Orientation session, please contact us.
