Orientation Reservations

If you’re a student admitted for Spring 2026, you will be notified when it’s time to make an Orientation account and reserve your Orientation date in mid-Fall 2025. Once reservations open, students will be able to login using their UCF NID and password once available.

Once reservations are open:

If you are receiving an error message while creating your Orientation account, it could be because of one of several reasons, or a combination of them:

  1. You might have recently been offered admission to the university and our Orientation database has not yet been updated with your information. this process can take up to two (2) business days following your admission notice and is done automatically.
  2. You might not have submitted your enrollment deposit yet. To confirm your acceptance to the university, all First Time in College (FTIC) students are required to submit an enrollment deposit of $200 through their Future Knights portal. Transfer students do not submit an enrollment deposit.
  3. You might have been admitted for a previous semester. If you were offered admission to the university for a semester that is not Spring 2026, and either did not enroll in classes or attend classes, you will have to reapply to the University of Central Florida for a new term. For more information, reach out to Undergraduate Admissions at (844) 376-9160.

If none of these apply to you, please reach out to our office so we can further assist and troubleshoot. You are more than welcome to reach out to our office via phone (407-823-5105) or email (fye@ucf.edu).

Once reservations open, you will have access to a Task List.

If you ever have questions about what you need to do before your Orientation session, you can always refer to your Task List, which you can access once you create your Orientation account. Your task list is a list of action items that you need to complete as a new student at the university. These items must be completed BEFORE you select an Orientation date:

    • TASK 01: Access your UCF email
    • TASK 02: Contact Information

Once reservations open, we strongly encourage students to sign up for the earliest Orientation session that works for them! It is important to note that our reservation system is set up to only show students the Orientation dates that are applicable to them based on their term of entry, their student type, and other student data related to admissions status. No need to worry if you are selecting the right date.

Additionally, and once reservation open, FYE will continue releasing Orientation dates on a rolling basis based on demand. We encourage you to reach out to our office via phone (407-823-5105) or email (fye@ucf.edu) if you have any additional questions or concerns pertaining to dates and date selection. As Orientation is mandatory and only offered on certain days, it is important to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
